How Injection Moulding Works
1. Clamping
2. Injection
The process begins by firmly securing two halves of a custom steel or aluminium mould together under high pressure. This ensures the molten plastic stays exactly where it should to form the perfect part.
Raw plastic pellets are melted down into a liquid and rapidly injected into the mould cavity. The machine controls speed and pressure for absolute precision and consistency.
3. Cooling
4. Ejection
Once filled, the liquid plastic needs to cool and solidify into its final shape. We use integrated cooling channels within the tool to speed up this cycle without compromising quality.
After cooling, the mould opens and the finished plastic part is safely ejected. The machine then immediately resets for the next cycle, enabling high-speed mass production.
